What a glorious day, so glorious I’ve taken a lil break from process mapping (yes i know – how exciting…..) to bring you a track from one of Coventry’s own , The Moonbears.
Moonbeams is taken from their appropriately titled Summer Ep, and brings you a head nod to 60’s motown with the bass in the intro followed a few dashes of psychedelic ala birds guitars before the gloriously hippie / shoe gaze vocals kick in.
The Moon bears are a band who can take the traditional Indie Pop genre and breath some new magic into it. Remincent of both chilled Super Furry Animals and Kinks Village Green Preservation Society era.
They just write good songs.
As Moon bear 5 is a friend of mine I’ll stop the praise for now.
