It’s time to bring The Pinstripe Briefcase back to where should be. New Midlands Home Grown Music

Liiines is Coventry’s own Ghostpoet’s third single from the mercury award nominated album peanut butter blues and melancholy jam.  This is one of my personal favourite tracks from the album, mainly due to the excellent reverb ridden  Adorable-esque guitar ( now there is a Cov reference from back in the day for ya 😉 ) and the introspective vocals.

I’ve just spotted that Symphony States new tune and new video has leaked on facebook. This Epic Indie Cov outfit have out done themselves again & it’s Rig’s first attempt at a video and it’s that good i had to post it right now.

I’m not going into massive explanation about the track or the vid as i’ve been in the garden drinking real ale most of the afternoon, and that’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it!

New Music – Moonbeams by The Moon Bears

What a glorious day, so glorious I’ve taken a lil break from process mapping (yes i know – how exciting…..) to bring you a track from one of Coventry’s own , The Moonbears.

Moonbeams is taken from their appropriately titled Summer Ep, and brings you a head nod to 60’s motown with the bass in the intro followed a few dashes of psychedelic ala birds guitars before the gloriously hippie / shoe gaze vocals kick in.

The Moon bears are a band who can take the traditional Indie Pop genre and breath some new magic into it. Remincent of both chilled Super Furry Animals and Kinks Village Green Preservation Society era.

They just write good songs.

As Moon bear 5 is a friend of mine I’ll stop the praise for now.
